This internship will be an unpaid opportunity to learn. We are looking for recent graduates or current undergraduate students to do some web design work for EmarketingandGraphics.. We envision this to be a perfect opportunity for an ambitious student or recent grad that wants to be a part of something new and refreshing. The candidate we are looking to work with should have knowledge of most of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Dreamweaver, not to mention design, style and layout (the visual is KEY to this movement!)
Are you dependable, resourceful and responsible? Do you have lots of energy, a good work ethic and loads of creativity when it comes to graphic & web design?
Do you have at least 2 years of experience? Does your work rock? Is your work incredible? Can you blow us away with your graphic skills?
Do you also have three (3) of your best design or work to prove it?
Must love graphic design, web development, personal development and have a burning desire to grow and learn (I know I am looking for a Super Team Member :).
Education/Qualifications
• Broad business and communications training and experience, with a particular focus in the areas of Internet, Intranet and online communications.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to function effectively with all levels of corporate and operating company management.
• Experience in working with outside agencies and vendors.
• Great team play attitude.
Technical Skills
• 2+ years experience demonstrating a professional-level knowledge of industry-standard Web design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver,.) is mandatory. Flash a plus but not required.
• 2+ years experience in web site development demonstrating a thorough understanding of web site and web application development using Dreamweaver
• Good understanding of current Web technologies (HTML 3.2/4.0, CSS, XHTML, XML, DHTML, COM, PHP, client side JavaScript) is mandatory.
• 2+ years experience demonstrating a solid conceptual understanding of HTML, color, optimizing images, the capabilities of Web browsers across multiple platforms, and the constraints involved in designing for online media is mandatory.
